Paw Paw Pet Sitters

Born and raised in Portland, I am one of the rare native Oregonians. I love this city – and all the rainy beauty it has to offer. My love for animals and the outdoors led me to dog walking and pet sitting five years ago. What began as a side job moved quickly to a fun and rewarding career. My experience in caring for animals, paired with my background in management, has contributed to my success. I’ve walked hundreds of dogs over the years, as well as pet sat for cats, chinchillas, rabbits, snakes, lizards, and chickens! It's been incredibly enriching, not only for the connections I’ve made with the animals—and the daily dose of cute–but the relationships formed with my eclectic clientele. I enjoy swimming, planning events, improving my culinary skills, and busting out my trivia skills at the local watering hole.

Growing up in Colorado has given me a strong love for all things outdoors. After earning my degree in Art History, I headed west for adventure. Once I discovered Portland my search was over. In over six years here I have found a career I adore: working with animals. After four years managing another large pet sitting company, I am elated to start my own pet care business. My love for animals of all species and personalities has grown tremendously over the years, expanding with each unique creature I’ve had the pleasure of working with. I truly cannot get enough! I continue my artistic pursuits with ceramics, drawing, and printmaking. I also love hiking, fishing, berry picking, and camping, especially when the sun shines in Oregon!

I am a Colorado native but my heart always belonged to Oregon. I moved to Portland recently and am loving it! After spending time in the beauty industry I am excited for a change. I have worked with the Pug Rescue in Denver and since I do not have a dog of my own I am so thrilled to get to know all the Paw Paw pups! In my free time I love exploring the city and going on coast side adventures. It's an honor to spend time with your best friends and make their moments without their humans a little brighter!

I am originally from Arizona, but I have lived in Portland for about five years. I love everything the city has to offer, and I’m very excited to explore some of my favorite neighborhoods with your pups! I am lucky enough to have about four years of professional experience working with dogs in daycares and various other settings, which has helped me develop skills as a dog handler. It has helped me grow to understand dog behavior, body language, and health, and I’m excited to be able to utilize these skills in working with your dogs! While I’m not spending time with dogs, I attend PSU where I am a senior in Sociology department, I play guitar in a band, I am an avid reader, and I can always be found in my favorite coffee shop. I’m very excited to getting to know your pups!

I have always been an animal lover so I've been pet sitting for friends and family my entire adult life.  Being an avid traveler, I haven't had a pet of my own so the next best thing is to spend time with other people's pets!  Most of my experience is with dogs of all breeds, behaviors and special needs and am so thankful to spend my days with these bundles of joy!  My education is in holistic nutrition and healing and have worked in the social work field.  I love to hike, camp, travel, read, write and am always striving to educate myself and to be of service to the world.
